-16: 15 Pm Absorb the scenery overlooking the heart of the city from Phousi Hill then enjoy shopping at the lively street evening market at Sisavang Vong Road. Overnight in Luangprabang.

Day 2 /
05.30 am Alms giving takes place daily as the sun rises, beginning on the main street of Luang Prabang before spreading out to all the side streets. (Follow the guidance of the locals by kneeling down ready to give your offering to the monks ) Sticky Rice
Then Take the opportunity to stroll down the local market and come in touch closer to Luang Prabang serene life-style and activities of the early morning.
-7.30 am. breakfast at the hotel.
-9.30 am boat trip up the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Caves which are consisted of cave, the lower Tham Ting cave and upper Tham Theug, overhanging on the steep limestone cliffs. These extraordinary caves are filled with thousands of Buddha statues of various styles, sizes and positions imaginable.
12.00 am. Have A Lunch
13.00 pm. Visit the local village of Ban Xang Hai, litterally means Jar or Pottery Making Village. Today the villagers no longer make potteries, but import instead. The main attraction of the village are whisky making, silk weaving and Sa paper making. Its fame arises from the production of local rice wine whisky - lao lao. At the village, you will see whisky in various bottles, containing creepy creatures such as snakes, scorpion, centipedes, or geckos, fully bathed in lao lao whisky.
15.00 pm. continue onwards to Kuang Si Waterfall, an outstanding waterfall of Luang Prabang with many cascading steps, basins and flowing water. You can relax in the natural environment and enjoy swimming in its pleasant pools and clear water.

-9: 30 am. Visit Luang Prabang National Museum (or Royal Palace), When the monarchy was overthrown by Revolutionary Government in 1975, the palace was converted to national museum. It has been well preserved and provide good insights into the history of Laos
-10: 30 am. Wat Xieng Thong, The Temple of Golden City. Its origin can be dated back to 1560 when King Setthatilat built it on the bank of Mekong River near the juncture with the Nam Khan River. The entire temple complex with many ornate chapels and buildings represents the real gem of traditional Laotian architecture.
-11: 00 am. Have a Lunch ( Luangprabang Noodle Style )
